The clearance between the piston and the cylinder wall is too large. For example, the standard clearance between piston skirt and cylinder is 0.143-0.182, and the maximum wear limit is 0.35-0.40.
After the engine runs for a period of time, the piston of the cylinder is worn, and the lubrication is not good. The clearance between the piston and the cylinder increases because of wear and tear, and a serious step appears at the lower part of the first ring, which makes the piston knock on the cylinder to produce abnormal sound.



After wearing for a certain period of time, the piston skirt and cylinder wear heavily, causing serious roundness and knocking.



The deformation of individual connecting rods for various reasons leads to eccentric wear of piston and larger clearance. Piston knocking will lead to excessive fuel consumption, engine oil channeling, oil consumption, poor economy. When the piston knocks badly, the piston will be broken and the cylinder will be broken, so that the connecting rod will break and the cylinder block will be broken.
